That means in the pure Thai versions of these lessons the English part is cut off. This helps more advanced learners to focus solely on the Thai parts.

Extended Vocabulary Lessons In these lessons you learn not only new words and phrases but also see one or more example sentences of them in use. This helps you to feel confident how to use a word or phrase within a sentence, reinforces grammar rules and makes them become second nature. Basic structure: You hear an English word. You hear it twice in Thai. You hear an example sentence in English. You hear the sentence in Thai. You hear the sentence in English and Thai word by word. You hear the sentence one more time in Thai. Conversation Lessons Learn to understand regular Thai people and not only people who speak perfect Bangkok Thai. Conversation lessons come in two different flavours. Some are like interviews in which you hear a single native Thai speaker speaking and some are dialogue lessons in which two or more people talk to each other. Basic structure: You see a video of a native Thai speaker speaking You see and hear what he or she says in slow motion You hear the English Translation You hear the same sentence again in clear Standard / Bangkok Thai. You hear the sentence in English and Thai word by word. You see the video of the native Thai speaker speaking again (at this point you already hear things you might have missed the first time)

Grammar & Word Usage Lessons Grammar & Word Usage Lessons help you to understand when and how to use certain words or Thai slang expression. You also learn new grammar rules and other concepts that were part of the last conversation lesson. Usually 3 - 5 different subjects are covered in each lesson. Basic structure: You get an explanation the underlying concept, grammar rule or the appropriate usage of a word. You hear an example sentence in English. You hear the sentence twice in Thai. Review Lessons Review lessons wrap up what you have learned in the previous Extend Vocabulary, Conversation and Grammar & Word Usage Lessons. You can test what you have learned and see the words, grammar rules and other concepts in a different context. Basic structure: You will hear a Thai sentence and have some time to translate it. You hear the sentence in English. You hear the sentence word by word in Thai. You hear the complete sentence in Thai again. After 5-6 sentences the Thai - English ends and the English - Thai part starts. You hear a sentence in English. You hear the sentence word by word in English. Audio Transcripts It's easy if you want to listen to certain sentences or words that we covered in one of our lessons again. Just head to the Transcripts section of our website and lookup the lesson. The Audio Transcript has each sentence or word of a lesson in written form (English, Transliteration & Thai) and comes with a small audio button if you want to listen to it again. You can also download a PDF file to print the sentences and words covered in each lesson.
